New Features at Virgin Poker
It is the season of revamps, additions and new features with online casinos as well as poker rooms upgrading their software, games and offerings. Virgin Poker has come up with some new poker features so that their players enjoy a smooth and hassle free game play. The new features include changes in rules for late registrations, synchronised breaks in cash games, a rematch feature, tournament info display and new menu button.
The poker site has changed their rules on late registrations with players getting a chance to enter MTT’s apart from heads-up and shootout tournaments. Players will be able to view which tournaments have start but are still permitting late registrations as they will be indicated by the status ‘Late Reg’ in the lobby.
Players will now get synchronised breaks in cash games which was earlier available only to tournament players. Cash game players will be able to take small breaks at an approximate specified time. Those who’re in the middle of a hand need not worry if their break time has started as the break will officially begin only when the hands are finished on all tables that are in the same break. The approximate start time and duration of the next break will displayed on the top right corner of the screen.
The new rematch feature will allow players who complete a Sit & Go heads up tournament to have a rematch in another tournament of the same type. A pop-up message will come up inquiring if the player wishes to play with his opponent in another tournament. Players can choose and play or decline, if they wish.
Players at Virgin Poker will be able to view tournament information directly on the tables, as well in the lobby. This feature will be available in single-table as well as multi-table tournaments so that they can stay updated without having to visit the lobby.
The new menu button includes a ‘Ranking’ button which will help tournament players check the chip count and positions of the fifty highest-ranking participants. The player’s own position will be highlighted in bold so as to be visible in the list.
